In depth

Verdict

John Gosden has won three of the eight renewals and runs Satish, fourth at Ascot on his debut and preferred to stablemate Wings of Desire with Frankie on board. Daqeeq went close at Wolverhampton in October while Knights Table has the more recent form with a second at the same track last month. Goldmember looks a likely improver and Winning Story represents last year's winning yard. Point of View cost 400,000gns as a yearling and is in both the Dante and Derby but a speculative vote goes to fellow newcomer and another Derby entry, AMAZING RED, a half-brother to top-class former stablemate Red Cadeaux among others.
