Verdict

There are four fillies from Ireland in this and two from France but we are loathe to desert the home-based FANNY LOGAN, who has found her feet back over 1m2f recently and notched a hat-trick, including a win on soft going at Salisbury. She possibly still has a bit to prove at this level but has been scoring with plenty in hand. Trethias has also won in Listed company this summer but will not have encountered going this testing before. Queen will handle conditions, however, and has run a couple of solid races in defeat at Longchamp recently. Tamniah has a penalty for winning a Group 3 at Deauville but will find this easier than her latest run in the Prix Vermeille. Simply Beautiful has also been racing over further and is proving hard to place.
