A high-class renewal which should offer plenty of clues for next year's classics. Air Force Blue easily won the National Stakes at the Curragh when stepped up to 7f. He's only been beaten once, in the Coventry Stakes, and will give EMOTIONLESS plenty to think about. But the Godolphin colt was hugely impressive when winning the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster and will be a short price if runner-up Ibn Malik gives the form a boost in the previous race. Sanus Per Aquam won the Tattersalls Stakes over course and distance last month but Adventurous was just behind and he has already been found out at this level. Tashweeq won a Listed race at Doncaster last time but Paul Hanagan has chosen less-exposed Leicester maiden winner Massaat.
