Verdict

This maiden often throws up a decent type. John Gosden sent out the winner in 2012 and has a trio of entries. Bobby Havlin rides Albert Finney and he’s the most interesting, ahead of Kick On, being by Kingman out of a Group 2 winner, though he will almost certainly be suited by further in time. Godolphin has won four of the last eight renewals and MADKHAL is by top American sire Distorted Humour who gets plenty of smart two-year-olds. He gets a tentative vote though Bye Bye Hong Kong is another with an attractive US pedigree and he cost 575,000gns.
