Tamagin comes here in good nick and Kevin Ryan's colt is fancied to follow up again at the main expense of Obe Gold and Orpen Wide. The selection caused an upset when popping up at 28/1 last time out and his price was a mystery given his consistent enough level of form on the all-weather. That was, admittedly, his first win on turf and whilst he will need to prove his effectiveness on this quicker ground, we will side with him to score again with that confidence boost under his belt. Obe Gold is handicapped to win having won off much higher marks in the past and he shaped with plenty of promise last time out. That was a better race than this one and his time is near. Brunelleschi needs to bounce back from two below-par efforts and the feeling is that he may just be paying with the handicapper for his hat-trick in May. Orpen Wide has winning course form and should run his race, although he may prefer seven furlongs plus these days, whilst Abwaab won in gutsy fashion three starts back however it could be that the effect of blinkers is starting to wear off. All in all this looks a decent opportunity for Tamagin to win again.
