Wolfgang returned to winning ways over this trip at Doncaster last month but faces better opposition here. Stablemate DEMOCRETES got off the mark on the Rowley Mile course here in May and doesn't look badly treated here. Richard Hannon's colt was relatively unfancied that day but kept finding more in front and gives the impression today's longer trip will be in his favour. There are possibilities about lightly-weighted Ayr winner Ladykin but Falls Of Lora and Es Que Love have a bit to prove after a modest showing at Royal Ascot. There should be more to come from last month's Ripon winner Overpowered and Greatest Dancer, however, though the latter's easy Southwell win came against poor opposition.
