Nonios has been in fine form on the all-weather but has yet to win on Turf while Aclimatise attempts this longer trip for the first time having won over a mile last month. It was soft going when BROROCCO finished second in a more competitive contest at Epsom last week and Andrew Balding’s charge gets the vote back on a faster surface today. Valcartier folded tamely at York last time and Newbury winner Lunar Jet faded badly on the Rowley course here but Alfarris could go well on his seasonal debut.
