    Verdict

Euchen Glen did well to overcome trouble in-running to complete a double at Ayr but more will be needed if he's to be successful here. Autocratic looks progressive and came good at Sandown while High Grounds ran well on his handicap debut at Epsom when ahead of Cartago and Bathos, though could have done without a further 2lb rise. Midhmaar wasn't at his best over 1m4f at Ascot but his earlier form stands up to scrutiny and he could reward each-way support. Wild Hacked is holding his form well but Ode To Evening appeared to run out of stamina over this trip at Sandown in the spring. BANKSEA has been a typical Luca Cumani three-year-old work in progress but looked much more the finished article at Pontefract last month and may have the scope to defy a 7lb rise.
