In depth

Verdict

Vera Verto has been a revelation back on the Flat this year, winning at Ballinrobe and Listowel. Cloudbreaker has been keeping good company and hasn’t been disgraced while Divina Grace rallied in game fashion to follow up a win at Bath over this course and distance nine days ago. Decoration was just beaten on her handicap debut in July but unseated her rider at the start at Goodwood subsequently. LONG AGO gave weight and a beating to the subsequent dual winner Queen Emma at Nottingham in June. She’s only run once since, when finding Listed company too taxing at York in July, and should find this longer distance to her liking.
