    Verdict

The globe-trotting YIBIR missed the break when beaten in the Man O’ War at Belmont Park in May. He’d been surprisingly beaten by Living Legend in the Jockey Club Stakes here earlier but is 6lb better off with the winner so is expected to turn the tables. West End Charmer holds New Mandate on Ascot running but doesn’t look up to this level but Mostahdaf definitely is having only found Broome too good in the Hardwicke Stakes at the Royal meeting. Global Storm was second in a Group 2 in Dubai in the spring but is Godolphin’s second string.
