Charlie Appleby has three entries and though the unbeaten Al Maysan and the progressive Global Storm have to be considered William Buick has chosen Native Tribe, a winner at Sandown after a debut second behind ENCIPHER at Newbury. The winner is 2lb worse off but had plenty in hand and looks a smart prospect. There are plenty of dangers in an interesting handicap including The Queen's Vindicate, who showed the benefit of his debut here with a battling victory at Chelmsford and he looks certain to improve. Bronze River was ridden by an apprentice for last year's three runs, two of them victories on Polytrack, and Oisin Murphy takes over.
