Verdict

King Leonidas may have been expected to reappear in a much more prestigious contest after an impressive victory here in November. The beautifully-bred son of Kingman out of a Galileo mare has to concede 7lb to EASTERN WORLD, a half-brother to Group 1 winner Thunder Snow and three other high-class winners. The Godolphin colt, an Irish Derby entry, was very green on his debut at Kempton and can take advantage of the weight concession. Bullfinch is also penalised for his victory at Chelmsford and looks up against it but the Sea The Stars colt Star Of Wins is a newcomer to note.
