      In depth

      Formwatch

Attache Not disgraced in the Great Yarmouth Stakes at Newbury. Likely to appreciate the extra 2f today; ground a worry with best form coming on a faster surface.

Canada Back to back wins over this trip in June, but subsequent form has been uninspiring until latest third at York; may find others too good.

Persian Pride (IRE) A winner over this trip at Haydock in the soft. He was unlucky not to get a clear run in the Tote Gold Trophy at Goodwood on his penultimate start.

Guaranda Won the Fillies Handicap at Chester in June, may find this contest more competitive.

Jokesmith (IRE) A maiden winner, but since running in handicap company has been disappointing.

Tiyoun (IRE) Won penultimate start at Thirsk over 1m4f; in better company today.

Dhuhook (USA) Respectable runs in handicaps, but unproven over todays distance.

Denise Margaret (IRE) Won off top weight at Sandown in July, put up 7lbs for this win and has failed to be in the frame since.

Sing For Fame (USA) Lightly raced winner of a maiden. Did not impress in handicap company.

Lafayette (IRE) Has been creeping up the Handicap since winning at Sandown in May. Won in the soft at Pontefract with ease. Looks progressive; must go close.

Zandeed (IRE) Very progressive sort of late, has not beaten anything of note and still off a good weight today; one for the shortlist.

Watchkeeper (IRE) Beaten favourite at Epsom on last start. She is a very capable sort with two back to back wins at Lingfield.

Prompt Payment (IRE) Maiden winner stepping up to handicap company today; best watched.

Harewood End Won a maiden on the AW at Southall in April; makes little appeal on latest form.

Invitation A surprise winner at Windsor back in May; unappealing on handicap form.

Swordplay A progressive horse who beat Alleluia at Chester in July; only worry might be a too short.

Dream Magic Progressive form of late, but is running out of the handicap; unproven over distance.
