          Marweh Successful in France with John Hammond. Two runs since at Doncaster have not been spectacular, but should appreciate the softer ground today.

          Winning Venture Ended a long losing run at Goodwood latest over 8f. Will appreciate yielding ground, but 7f perhaps a bit short.

          Wahj (IRE) Won on GS at Chepstow latest start; has a bit to prove today.

          Calcutta Won at Doncaster over 8f latest, better form over this distance and has not won on the softer ground.

          Free Rider Ran well at Goodwood last time out in similar conditions. Has not won since 1999; not without chances.

          Nothing Daunted Has been off the course since May, recent form makes little appeal.

          Red N' Socks (USA) Second behind Culcutta at Doncaster latest. Will prefer the drop back in trip; can't be ignored.

          Triple Blue (IRE) Only moderate form of late; others preferred.

          Dayglow Dancer Won at Doncaster back in March, but recent form is not encouraging.

          Technician (IRE) Soundly beaten in Ayr Gold Cup latest, but won penultimate start at York. Unproven on this ground and has not run over this distance form some time.

          Undeterred Has been a regular campaigner in Handicaps over the summer, but recent form does not bode well.

          Point of Dispute Only a length beaten by Stratton at Newbury last start; others preferred.

          Ash Moon (IRE) Improved performance penultimate start when just beaten at Yarmouth over 7f in soft. Needs to produce that and more to win today.

          Golden Dragon Beaten by Wahj at Chester in Aug, appreciates a faster surface so conditions not ideal today.

          Indian Plume Consistent form of late on varying ground. Drops back to 7f today; must be considered.

          Rudik (USA) Improved performance to finish a good fourth at Ayr latest; still has a bit to prove today.

          Lord Pacal (IRE) Running out of the Handicap, finished last latest in race won by Wahj; makes limited appeal.
