This is a tricky race to assess with many of these making their debuts, but a chance is taken that Silkie Smooth can put her experience to good use with Cliche and Zonta Zitkala perhaps the most obstinate opponents. Trained by Sir Michael Stoute, Clich¿s a daughter of Diktat, out of a winning dam over seven furlongs who was a half-sister to a winning six furlong juvenile. She should possess plenty of pace and jockey bookings suggest this is the stable preferred. Ralph Beckett¿s Zonta Zitkala showed plenty of promise on her Newmarket debut before finishing a staying on runner-up at Nottingham. She can play a part here. Silkie Smooth has been taking on some useful individuals in her two starts to date at York and Newmarket, finishing only two lengths off the winner at Newmarket. Silkie Smooth can glide away from her rivals in a race that may be best watched.
