Ballet Ballon can land the finale at the expense of the consistent Top Spec, with Boot 'N Toot and Admiral's Cruise a couple more to conjure with. Michael Jarvis had a fairly lean time of things in August, but Ballet Ballon contributed to the stable's few winners when successful at Salisbury. She squeezed through a gap to score and open her account on what was her handicap debut. The daughter of Rahy was helped by the fact that she was dropped two-pounds for an earlier defeat, and a five-pound hike will make things that bit harder, but she seemed to like the step up to 10 furlongs last time and can go close. Top Spec has been placed on his last three starts but looked none too keen at Windsor and Dane O'Neill will have to be at his strongest. Boot 'N Toot is dropped back in grade here, but even so, his earlier success over Topkat has been devalued since. Admiral's Cruise is lightly-raced and made a promising handicap bow at York when second to Kydd Gloves. He has to be considered, but Ballet Ballon gets weight all round and should make the most of it.
