    Verdict

    Oasis Fantasy had gone close in better company than this at Windsor before disappointing at York. He’ll likely get taken on for the lead today by another front-runner and recent Ripon second My Reward and that could set the race up nicely for ESCAPE THE CITY. The latter was no match for the favourite when runner-up at Leicester last time but Hughie Morrison’s charge looks to have fallen far enough down the weights to finally get his head back in front and gets the vote. Fairy Tale failed to see out the 1m6f at Ascot last time though is still preferred to the struggling Stamford Raffles.
