HARTNELL is hard to oppose in this. He's a street clear on official ratings and both wins came in soft ground. The only question mark is whether he'll stay this longer trip but his breeding suggests it will be no problem. Montaly looks the biggest danger after winning his maiden in testing going at Nottingham last month, though even he has 18lb to find with the selection. The remainder are hard to fancy unless Automated is much better over today's distance than he showed over 7f at Ayr on his debut.
