In depth

Formwatch

Border Arrow Gained well deserved first Group race success when winning Brigadier Gerard at Sandown in May; not surprisingly outclassed in Princess Of Wales's Stakes on only subsequent start. Absent since but fitness should not be a problem and has favoured ground.

Chianti (IRE) Good winner at Epsom in July on fast ground; has not troubled the judge since and would want the ground to dry out significantly.

Indian Creek Three times a winner this term (twice at Goodwood and once at Ascot) but ran best race yet when third in Champion Stakes last time; thrown in on that form he has claims but may have been flattered by his proximity to the winner there.

Lagudin (IRE) Won in similar company over 1m2f at Doncaster two outings ago but found Right Wing too pacey here over nine furlongs last time; return to this trip should suit.

Torcello (IRE) Has not progressed since winning his maiden; looks out of his depth here.
