      Verdict

      ZABEEL CHAMPION bids for a hat-trick raised only 3lb for last week’s success at Ripon. He’s preferred to stable companion Sky Defender and also beat Global Storm when scoring here last year. The latter has something to prove off his current mark while Rodrigo Diaz returns to action 10lb higher than when landing a treble on the all-weather last autumn. Grand Bazaar scored over track and trip in September but further improvement is needed now gelded while Hyanna still looks in the handicappers grip.
