        Verdict

        Plenty with claims in this but 2012 winner French Navy will do well to repeat carrying a 6lb penalty for winning the Group 3 Diomed at Epsom in June. He had earlier beaten Baltic Knight at Goodwood and Ocean Tempest beat Fire Ship when landing a Listed event at Windsor during the summer. Bronze Angel arrives on the back of a double in handicap company and may not have finished improving yet but a chance is taken on LINTON. A recent pipe-opener at Redcar will have brought him on and the Group 1 winner in Australia may well prove good enough to land this.
