ART HISTORY was given the most beautiful ride by Silvestre De Sousa at Pontefract over 10 furlongs when putting his head in front on the line in decent handicap company. Joe Fanning takes over now and he looks a prime player off a 2lb higher mark with the extra two furlongs expected to play to his strengths. Jameel, off the bottom rung, is harder to evaluate, having also scored over ten furlongs at the Yorkshire venue, albeit in maiden company. He must be taken seriously off this mark on his handicap bow though. Butler has claims if forgiven his last run as he was previously progressive and softer ground may well have scuppered his chances the last time. Warlu Way and Incendo, both solid and consistent, complete the shortlist.
