Verdict

Godolphin should have a monopoly on this Listed event, with Razkalla taken to beat stablemate Fantastic Love and Private Charter. As he is now aged six, it is a tip in itself that Razkalla has been kept in training, and if straight enough after a six-month absence, the ex-David Loder inmate should have too much class for his four rivals. Having contested the Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic in March, he will not be unduly troubled by today's opponents, and can bounce back with a win on his first start for the boys in blue, en-route to a possible crack at the Melbourne Cup. Stablemate Fantastic Love showed signs of a return to form when third in the Mallard Handicap at York and he will undoubtedly be placed to good effect in due course. He was successful at Royal Ascot in June 2003, and remains one to follow. Of the rest, Light of Morn makes some appeal as she has competed at a decent level. However, she was well held behind another Godolphin inmate, Echoes in Eternity in Doncaster's Park Hill and is hard to fancy. With Frankie Dettori in the plate, Razkalla can prevail even though he likely to be only 80 per cent straight.
