Dalisay looks capable of taking this opener from Shastye and Explosive Fox. The selection ran with plenty of credit when second over 12 furlongs here last time and the extra furlong should not inconvenience. That was not a bad contest for its type and now that she has had experience of the surface she can break her maiden tag. Shastye comes from a yard going pretty well and makes her all weather debut here, so we are not sure how she will handles conditions. She improved plenty last time out at Pontefract over 10 furlongs, but has a bit to prove over this longer trip and is probably best watched. Explosive Fox makes his British debut after joining Vinnie Fox and it will be interesting to see how he performs, having been beaten over a staying trip in Ireland. His effort at Wexford last time was good enough to get involved here though and the market should be watched for any confidence. Of the others, Chanteloup has run in better maidens than this so far and gone well. This is her all weather debut and there are questions to answer about the trip so she is opposed, and we will side with Dalisay to score.
