      Verdict

      Nothing went right for Desert Angel at Musselburgh so he did well to get as close as he did. A 2lb rise shouldn’t prevent another big run, with Ryan Moore booked, but he is exposed compared to most of his rivals. Stablemate Thunder Max may need to drop a few pounds while Stormy Ocean was beaten off a lower mark at Wolverhampton, though holds Grenoble on collateral form. SUPER STARS, a full brother to two winners, can build on last year’s promise now handicapping.
