Verdict

RECKLESS VENTURE deserves to have won far more races than he has and he can put that statistic right to a degree at the expense of Jballingall and Seek The Truth. Lucinda Russell's charge ran another solid race in defeat at Hexham in a classified event and with an ability to act on any surface, he has the most ticks in the right boxes. Jballingall looked to have lost his way somewhat but the application of tonguestrap and cheekpieces has made a difference. He is entitled to take this race if he runs to anywhere near his best form. Seek The Truth may have needed his first run following absence and is accordingly noted in the betting ring. Oscar Trial has got course form to his name while the remainder appear up against it. Reckless Venture will struggle to find as easy an opportunity as this to get his head infront.
