      SUN LOVER returned to action with a second at Thirsk earlier in the month. Rated 85, he should be winning one of these contests soon and has plenty in hand with Justice Pleasing on these terms. Melodya’s saddle slipped in the selection’s race at Thirsk but she was well beaten on her earlier debut and New Signal is preferred after a debut third over 7f also at Thirsk. Barjeel is a $500,000 US-bred colt related to winners and makes more appeal than fellow newcomer Strike Again.
