Merweb improved steadily throughout his first campaign culminating in a victory over a mile here in December. There's no reason why he shouldn't make further progress and still looks on a fair mark. Addis Ababa was making his all-weather debut when third over the course and distance earlier this month where he was quickly left behind after leading in the straight. He should be better for the run but another chance goes to TAMREER. A debut winner at Salisbury for Charles Hills a year ago, she ran very well on her return to action here last month before finding soft going against her at Haydock on Saturday. Employer made a very good start for Jim Goldie at Doncaster but was around 5l behind Addis Ababa here next time.
