Baby Bach has won a point-to-point and a bumper on heavy ground and, though a bit disappointing so far over timber, would be an obvious threat if the ground turned very testing. GOLDEN INVESTMENT went for £42,000 at the sales after a very impressive victory between the flags in Ireland and though beaten in an Aintree bumper three weeks ago showed enough to suggest he will win races over timber and this looks a good start. Good Vibration also scored between the flags and didn't look suited by a small field over hurdles at Sedgefield last time so he can do better with a stronger pace likely. Never Learn was well supported when making his bumper debut at Newton Abbot in May and, though well beaten, should be capable of better. Heritage Way made a successful bumper debut on heavy ground at Ayr but that was in February of last year.
