        Verdict

        BRENDAN (NAP) can be forgiven a poor effort in soft ground at Ayr last time as he’s proving better at this track than elsewhere. Jim Goldie’s charge beat both Cherry Oak and Another Angel when scoring over track and trip earlier in the month and is worth another chance back at this venue. Life For Rent is usually thereabouts but rarely wins while Mr Shelby went close at Musselburgh in between his more usual modest efforts.
