Supreme Fortune is fancied to defy a penalty here and see off chasing debutants Search And Destroy and Avebury. Mary Reveley's gelding was always travelling like a winner, and was value for much more than the winning margin of five lengths over course and distance last time. Although penalised for that success, it should have boosted his confidence and we expect him to account for these rivals. Search And Destroy should prove the main danger. Tom George's gelding showed plenty of promise over timber, winning a novices' handicap at Doncaster last December, and is preferred to fellow debutant Avebury, who won a couple of moderate hurdles at Sedgefield last summer but has been absent since August.
