SUWAAN won over track and trip on his reappearance last year. He’s still 7lb higher but a recent absence should be no problem and he was taking on better opposition in the autumn. Another returnee, Caesar's Comet, is also eased in grade while Gloriux has probably run better that the actual results suggest in a couple of runs this year. Windforpower beat Star Cracker and Spirit Of Wedza over track and trip earlier this month but there should be little between that trio on the revised terms. Pea Shooter is thrown in on the pick of his Turf form but his all-weather record leaves something to be desired.
