This is a very tricky maiden with many top stables represented, One And Gone should come on for his debut effort, as should Coyote Creek, however we think it may rest between the two newcomers Provost and Overrule, with preference for the latter. Jeremy Noseda has hit a rich vein of form and this son of Diesis certainly looks the part on paper. He cost 60 thousand dollars as a foal, but that price increased to 190 thousand after a year. He will no doubt know what is required first time out and looks the one to be on. Provost also boasts a nice pedigree being by Danehill Dancer out of a Lake Coniston mare, the market should certainly give clues towards this one's chances. One And Gone contested a decent enough maiden on his debut and wasn't given a hard time, he should certainly come on for the run. All in all this is not a race to bet too heavily as there is a lot of guesswork involved, but Overrule looks the part on paper and he gets our vote.
