Australis showed further progress on his reappearance when scoring over 1m6f at Wolverhampton and beating Caravan Of Hope in the process. Both look likely to appreciate this longer trip and have decent claims while the latter’s stablemate Collide is another upped in distance. Carnwennan won last year’s consolation race for this though found Smart Champion too good over track and trip back in February and the latter has since run well in the Ascot Stakes. Cosmelli and King's Advice were both well beaten in last season’s renewal won by Alan King’s Who Dares Wins and he runs RAINBOW DREAMER this time. A close-up fourth behind higher rated rivals in a Group 3 contest over course and distance recently, he looks to have every chance on that form. Anyonecanhaveitall is still improving while top weight Magic Circle won the Chester Cup in 2018 though has left Ian Williams’ yard and the latter runs Kempton winner Reshoun today. Just Hubert has won over 2m and is preferred to Rajinsky of the remainder.
