The unexposed and progressive Diligent Harry may well be up to this task having won at the All-Weather Championships in April. Khuzaam was successful over a mile at the same fixture at Lingfield but has yet to race in a sprint. Jim Crowley prefers the latter to both Khaadem and the returning TABDEED but Owen Burrows’ charge won a Group 3 sprint at Newbury last summer and will go close with a similar effort. Brando could only manage second in last year’s renewal but Ventura Rebel landed a Group 3 contest in Ireland last season and Ainsdale went close in the Group 2 Temple Stakes over 5f at Haydock last time. Good Effort and Chil Chil could go well but Epsom Diomed winner Oh This Is Us drops down in trip.
