In depth

Verdict

TRUE HERO has won over the minimum trip at Southwell on a couple of occasions this year including his latest start. But David Brown’s charge was beaten only a head at Wolverhampton in between and can defy today’s penalty back on the Tapeta given he’s due to be raised a further 4lb after this. Debawtry won a lower grade sprint over track and trip on her reappearance and has every chance while Rockley Point is preferred to Phoenix Star over today’s distance having finished in front of Harrogate when fourth here last time.
