        In depth

        Verdict

CASTLE QUARTER returned a disappointing favourite at Southwell last time but had placed over track and trip before that and collateral form gives him the beating of Glengarry. He gets the vote in a first-time visor with Frederick Larson’s 7lb allowance in his favour. Seventeen O Four can figure back over a mile for this while Al Ozzdi should do better back on this surface but the unexposed Edna Tale is preferred to both having shown improvement here on a recent handicap debut.
