Verdict

Silver Knight had Little Sport just over a length behind when successful over this trip in testing conditions at Hexham earlier in the month and is the TEAMtalk selection to confirm the placings on identical terms. Tim Easterby's charge showed a willing attitude to land the spoils on that occasion and, with further improvement to come, should once again come out on top. Little Sport advertised the form with a course and distance victory next time but once again looks booked for minor honours behind the selection. On The Day showed ability when third on his debut at Kelso and has proved himself in the conditions so can reach a place at the expense of Minstrel Fair who makes his hurdling debut having shown moderate form in bumpers.
