Zeyaadah disappointed in the Oaks itself having finished second in the Oaks trial at Chester before that. It’s too soon to write her off as she drops down in trip. The Haggas yard sent out last year’s winner and run two though both Lilac Road and SEA EMPRESS have come up short in Listed company so far this year. But the latter got back on course with a recent novice victory at Chelmsford and a host of Group 1 entries suggests much better things are expected. Shine For You, Technique and Abstinence are other unexposed fillies while Oriental Mystique is fitted with headgear after another placed effort and the Irish filly Astadash faces a tougher task after finishing runner-up at Ayr.
