Verdict

The veteran CASPIAN PRINCE (NAP) won a conditions' race at Beverley in good style last time and has a fine strike rate on the all-weather. He won on last year’s Northumberland Plate card when beating Venturous, Ornate and 2018 winner Copper Knight. The latter scored at York last month with Count D'Orsay and Sunday Sovereign behind and the latter pair have both placed subsequently while Kind Review was well beaten in the same sprint at York but went on to win at Redcar. Aljady has a shout back in handicap company while Desert Safari could go well returning to the minimum trip for this.
