Dunbrody Miller is worthy of his prominent place in the betting market and is fancied to grind out a result over Korelo, Baron Windrush and Philson Run, while the enigmatic Robbo could easily spring a surprise for each-way backers if he consents to pull out all the stops with in his customary late rattle. However, only Robbo will know what frame of mind he is in and, as he is just as likely to give himself far too much to do if the leaders set a scorching pace, he looks a risky proposition once more. Philson Run is very lightly raced for a horse of his age and showed a good glimpse of what he is capable of by chasing home Gunther McBride at Exeter earlier in the month. Last year's Midlands National winner has another race like this within him and should be a leading player if his jumping holds up. Baron Windrush had a hard race when winning thy Tote Classic at Warwick last year and has only raced twice subsequently. He was pulled up at Wetherby on his reappearance on Boxing Day last year but can be expected to have been tuned up at home since. Still only an eight-year-old, he will be a force to be reckoned with if he can recapture anything like his best. Korelo has some high-class form to his name over hurdles and looks very well treated of his current chase rating. However, this course has never been a happy hunting ground for Martin Pipe and, considering that he only just scrambled home over a rival rated 21lbs inferior at Chepstow, Korelo needs to find a fair bit more in this company. Especially as his confidence will be tested by some of these stiff fences in the latter stages. Therefore, we turn to the improving Dunbrody Miller, who has shown a real aptitude for fences since he tipped up with an uncharacteristic mistake at Doncaster four outings ago. Peter Bowen wasted little time in getting him back in action and the gelding has done nothing but improve since then. This will not be a race for the feint hearted but Dunbrody Miller stands out as one that can definitely be relied upon to give his all when push comes to shove.
