In depth

Verdict

Cormier had done all his winning on Turf so far but bids for a hat-trick after scoring at York last time. Second Slip had Hasty Sailor over four lengths back in second when winning over track and trip but is 9lb higher and the less-exposed MOSHAAWER makes his handicap debut. The latter defied a penalty at Doncaster to complete a double in novice company and Roger Varian’s grey is taken to continue his winning ways. Haveyoumissedme only finished runner-up in a lower grade here last time and Man Of Riddles was well beaten on his handicap bow.
