Imperial Echo showed improved form at Hamilton and may go one better, with Awake, King's College Boy and last year's winner Strensall all worth a mention. Imperial Echo threw his chance away at Hamilton by hanging to the right after leading for most of the way. A little restraint and a straighter finish should see him make a bold bid. Awake has topweight but has shown enough in the past to take a hand, while King's College Boy has been placed any number of times and is another for the frame at least. Strensall, successful 12 months ago, lines up on a higher mark today so does not make as much appeal but should still not be totally ignored. Aahgowangowan has mirrored his stable's upturn in fortune and is also to be considered, but we will take a chance with Imperial Echo.
