Snowy Evening won over a longer trip at Doncaster. He’s 7lb higher but has good ground once again though REGARDE (NAP) also favours the underfoot conditions. The latter has won at Huntingdon on both starts over fences so far and may well defy a 12lb hike given the ease of his latest success. Donny Boy and William Of York finished runner-up last time without threatening the winner while Jet Legs was a beaten favourite at Wetherby.

Regarde (IRE) 8-11fav (12-0) Made most, soon led, pushed along home turn and went clear with one other, stayed on well and steadily forged away approaching last, eased towards finish, readily, won at Huntingdon 2m 4f hcp (5) gd in Nov beating Abingworth (11-9) by 2 3/4l, 8 ran.
Jet Legs (IRE) 5-2fav (11-5) Towards rear, mid-division 11th, pushed along in 3rd before 4 out where not fluent, ridden before last, one pace run-in, 4th of 7, 4l behind No But I Will (11-9) at Wetherby 3m hcp (4) sft in Nov.
