In depth

Verdict

Chti Balko has won three times around here and has only been raised 6lb for landing a Bangor handicap by 18 lengths so will take some beating. However, LORD OF CHESHIRE has much more scope and, having completed a double in the spring, reappeared with an impressive victory at Warwick. Ridden by a 3lb claimer that day, he has been raised 7lb but today‘s rider can claim 8lb. Whistle Stop Tour, a winner between the flags, made all and easily landed the odds in a Hexham maiden on his hurdling debut then led for a long way in a 2m4f novices‘ contest at Carlisle. The hat-trick seeking El Jefe has been impressive in two Class 5 handicaps at Sedgefield but Knowwhentoholdem has changed stables and has a long absence to overcome.
