      Verdict

      A tough race to call given there is little between those with a handicap rating though last month’s Newmarket third Summer Moon is preferred to stablemate Fraser Island. SURREY WARRIOR is not out of this either on his placed efforts on the all-weather including a second at Kempton last time to Jahbaath, who has subsequently defied a penalty and won again. Gelded since, Archie Watson’s charge makes most appeal given the Gosden colt Red Centre is not certain to appreciate this longer trip on breeding having placed over a mile on his debut. Jalmoud is a brother to the smart Magic Lily out of an Oaks winner and preferred to stablemate Moonlight Spirit of the Godolphin newcomers.
