MIDNIGHT DYNAMO won easily at Musselburgh on Wednesday and, while an entry in the Ayr Gold Cup may prove fanciful, Jim Goldie's mare landed this race two years ago and she'll take all the beating if lining up tonight. Ella's Delight floundered on testing ground at Thirsk but she was well supported ahead of her victory at Doncaster, and Martin Todhunter's filly isn't one to be writing off just yet. Meandmyshadow proved a bitter disappointment at Nottingham last time but she'd run well at York on her previous outing and could be a danger if allowed an uncontested lead. Percy's Gal continues to go tantalisingly close with five placings from her nine career starts and Diamond Blue has scored in August during the last two years so Richard Fahey's mare is respected, despite a bout of seconditis.
