      Verdict

      Heartbreak Hero made all and won a shade cosily when odds-on for a Windsor maiden last month but this is tougher off top weight. Lightning Stride was only beaten a nose on his handicap debut at Lingfield and has obvious claims but we are going to stick with L'ETACQ. He only beat the luckless Amber Crystal by half-a-length at Brighton but had to overcome trouble in-running to do so and is just as effective over this extra furlong. Charlie's Star is preferred to Mylaporyours of the others.

      Charlie's Star 8-1 (9-5) Outpaced in rear, under pressure halfway, some late headway, never nearer, 4th of 6, 11l behind Don Sigfredo (9-5) at Chester 6f 2yo hcp 0-85 (4) gs.
