Strong support for Elhafei on his first start since last summer having been gelded subsequently should be noted given he represents the powerful Gosden yard. Both Cashel and Porrima came up short bidding for hat-tricks on their latest outings but the latter had earlier beaten Elixsoft when scoring over 7f here. Insurplus won a lower grade contest over track and trip a fortnight ago and Gabrials Centurion was successful at Southwell at the end of last year but it could pay to stick with INTERNATIONAL LAW. The latter won a higher grade handicap at Wolverhampton on his first start since November and Antony Britain’s grey remains on a winning mark having been raised only 2lb.
