Verdict

Stainsby Girl should be winning soon based on seconds at Ayr and Hexham but tries a new trip today. Sophie Fatale has yet to finish out of the frame in three runs over timber and is still heading in the right direction. Lugg River and Gonn Away are others with a squeak while Whatsdastory was a cosy winner on her debut under Rules at Southwell but this looks a good opportunity for CLONDAW CAITLIN (NAP) to complete the hat-trick. Ruth Jefferson’s mare followed up a bumper win at Wetherby with a winning start over hurdles at the West Yorkshire track. She quickly pulled clear of a well-backed favourite on the latter occasion with a subsequent winner beaten 17 lengths in third.
